The first step in our store design process was to choose the features necessary for the site. The folks who run the farm are, quite naturally, very busy, so we decided to limit dynamic content to a weblog, photo galleries, and the product library itself.

Once we had a firm set of specifications in hand, we put together a series of three different rough designs for our clients to choose from. Each design mixed stock images with some of our own photography for a unique, natural feel.

In order to build the different dynamic components of the site in a timely fashion, we turned to our rapid application development framework, Cebrum. This allowed us to quickly assemble a secure administration interface, a Smarty templating system, and a conduit for Paypal information. All the different bits of the site were assembled and, after some rigorous testing from a third party, the site went live.
